She’s had a turbulent week which saw her achieve a mini victory in her Wagatha Christie court drama, but also have her private Instagram at the heart of the case made public.
Yet Coleen Rooney didn’t seem fazed by the drama as she was seen leaving the gym in Cheshire with a broad grin on her face on Friday.
Bounding out of the centre following an intense workout, the 35-year-old TV personality seemed in great spirits.

The outing came after Coleen’s infamous private Instagram account seemed to be accidentally revealed by fellow WAG Abbey Clancy.
Coleen – wife of footballer Wayne Rooney – used her secret account in her attempts to unearth who was selling stories about her.
She ended up accusing fellow WAG Rebekah Vardy, who denied the claims, resulting in the ongoing so-called Wagatha Christie court case.

Abbey – wife of football star Peter Crouch – re-shared a snap on Thursday from an account with a different username to 35-year-old Coleen’s public Instagram page.
The account was named Coleen03 with Coleen looking glam as a profile photo.
Coleen03 tagged Abbey, 35, in a photo of a cup with the name of Peter Crouch’s TV show on it – Crouchy’s Year-Late Euros: Live – obviously in attendance during the EUROS 2020 semi-finals on Wednesday night.

Abbey re-posted this to her Instagram Stories, adding the caption: ‘It’s coming home @Coleen03’

The mishap came a day after Coleen’s legal team claimed a ‘2-1 victory in the semi final’ as a judge ruled largely in her favour in the latest stage of her Wagatha Christie legal battle against Rebekah.
Justice Steyn rejected Rebekah’s lawyers’ bid at the High Court to issue a summary judgement on one part of Coleen’s defence to the long-running £1million libel suit against her.

Although the judge did agree to strike out some sections of Coleen’s defence – including a claim Rebekah stole a seat behind Coleen at Euro 2016 to boost her profile – it left the majority of her case intact, and will only result in two paragraphs being removed, rather than the 12 demanded by Rebekah’s lawyers.
Although only two paragraphs of Coleen’s defence were struck out, those paragraphs cover seven pages of the defence.
Rebekah’s side had sought to have parts of Coleen’s ‘public interest’ defence struck out, but that application was rejected.

However, the judge did rule that Coleen must change her defence because she could only rely on facts and circumstances which existed at the time of publication, not ones which only came to light afterwards.
The judge ruled: ‘Nevertheless, the appropriate course is for the defendant to amend the pleading, rather than for the court to strike out any part of [the defence].’
The judgement was a pre-trial procedural decision on which parts of the defence presented by Coleen will be included in the case when it goes to a full libel trial at the High Court, expected to be in Autumn 2021.

It was also revealed that Coleen kept her husband Wayne, 35, in the dark when she launched her infamous sting investigation against Rebekah.
Coleen’s lawyer David Sherborne revealed his client’s secrecy as he fought a motion from Rebekah’s lawyers to have a large portion of Coleen’s defence ‘struck out’.
It came as Rebekah’s counsel said her children were abused at school as a result of Coleen’s Wagatha Christie Instagram post accusing their mother of leaking stories.
Rebekah, 39, launched her £1.5m claim after Coleen accused her in her October 2019 Instagram post of being the source of leaks to the media on stories about her.

The court has heard how peace talks between the warring WAGs broke down during mediation and the case is now expected to go to a full trial.
Hugh Tomlinson QC for Rebekah Vardy, told the libel court that the case had been extremely serious, despite the ‘highly entertaining stories in the media referring to the Wagatha Christie… she suffered widespread abuse and hostility as a result of the post for a long period and her children were also abused at school. It was a very serious matter for her’.
The long-running feud between the high-profile WAGS erupted after Coleen revealed that she had set a trap to see who was responsible for the leaks, which earned her the nickname Wagatha Christie.

Rebekah’s team have now launched a bid to have large parts of Coleen’s defence in the ongoing libel case struck out.
David Sherborne described the attempt by Rebekah’s side to exclude large portions of evidence from the hearing as ‘a tactical exercise to remove evidence which serves to undermine her case or embarrass her.’
