A beauty blogger has revealed how she uses make-up to transform herself into spooky Halloween characters including Edward Scissorhands and the Corpse Bride. 

Make-up artist Alexa Ferriero from Tampa, Florida, has been showcasing a different creepy look on her Instagram page for every day in October.

Looks that the have wowed her fans include The Other Mother from animated film Coraline, Lady Gaga’s The Countess from TV show American Horror Story and Miss Spider from novel James and the Giant Peach.

The beauty guru has detailed how she achieved each look with friends and followers, claiming that her spooky looks are ‘amazing’ – with one even insisting the blogger should be a ‘famous make-up artist’. 

One incredible look was Alexa’s version of Emily from  Tim Burton’s film the Corpse Bride – where she used just three palettes to achieve the amazing recreation. 

She used a palette of blue, black, and white cream makeup purchased from a Halloween store alongside both the Anastasia Beverly Hills lip palette and the Morphe Brushes x James Charles palette. 

Her followers couldn’t believe the amazing transformation and quickly commented showing their support, with one hailing her ‘incredible’.

To achieve this look Alexa began by using Hourglass Cosmetics Porcelain Foundation stick, a careless concealer from Benefits Cosmetics and a translucent powder by Laura Mercier on her face.

Alexa declared on the first of this month that she would be undergoing 31 different Halloween looks for every single day of October

For her eyes she used a Kat Von D ‘shade n light’ palette before lining her eyes with the brand’s tattoo liner.  

To achieve the character’s signature facial scars and chapped lips she used  light shadow from the the Jaclynhill x Morphebrushes vault palettes. 

She then traced over the middle of her lips with a purple from the Anastasia Beverly Hills lip palette and topped off her entire look with a set of Ardell Beauty’s wispies lashes .
