Bec Hewitt bought some essentials from the supermarket last month, just like the millions of families across Australia stocking up during the coronavirus pandemic.

She was joined by her nine-year-old daughter, Ava, and the pair looked cheerful as they purchased cereal and toilet paper from a store in Melbourne.

The Hewitt family avoided panic buying crowds later in the day by having a truckload of groceries delivered to their $12.7million mansion in Toorak.

The mother-of-three, 36, styled her dark hair in a low ponytail and went makeup free.

Ava, who is a keen dancer, wore shorts and a jacket, and tied her hair up in a bun.

In Victoria, residents can only leave the house for food shopping, exercise, work and education. They are also allowed out for compassionate reasons.

A Woolworths delivery driver was later seen carrying crates of groceries from a truck into the home Bec shares with her husband, tennis player Lleyton Hewitt.

The couple, who married in 2005 and previously lived in the Bahamas, have three children: son Cruz, 11, and daughters Ava and Mia, 14.
