Channel 10 has announced that Bec Judd is set to join the cast of the The Amazing Race Australia Celebrity Edition.

The super-fit 40-year-old wife of former AFL star Chris Judd will join her sister Kate Twigley on the real-life adventure show.

Bec and Kate will race against 10 other teams of celebrities, who are all out to win $100,000 for their chosen charity. 

In a touching announcement, Bec explained the pair will be racing on behalf of a foundation set up by their dear friend Nicole Cooper, who lost her battle with bowel cancer earlier this year.

‘Nicole was a staunch advocate for cancer patients and her foundation continues her amazing work in ensuring others with cancer have better treatment, support, and options in their fight,’ Bec said in a statement.

Other members of the cast include podcaster and former Dancing with the Stars contestant Grant Denyer and his wife Chezzi.

Controversial reality star George Mladenov with also be competing.

The outspoken Australian Survivor veteran, 31, will be joined by his sister, Pamela Mladenov. 

Former Silverchair drummer Ben Gillies and wife Jackie Gillies are in the race, alongside Australian Commonwealth Gold Medallist and former Olympic athlete Jana Pittman hopes and her son Cornelis.

The star of Netflix’s Too Hot to Handle Harry Jowsey will be joined by his best mate Teddy Briggs and Darren McMullen from The Voice and his nephew Tristan Douganfor will also be racers in the coming season.

Other featured cast members include I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! Australia star Alli Simpson and her mum Angie Simpson, comedian Dan Simpson and his dad, Bow Simpson, and funnyman Peter Rowsthorn and his daughter Frankie Rowsthorn.
