Bella Giannulli took to Instagram Monday with a throwback shot of herself and sister Olivia in which she closely resembled their mother, Lori Loughlin.

The post came amid news that Bella’s parents, Loughlin, 55, and designer Mossimo Giannulli, 56, will not be attending an arraignment in a Boston federal court in their ongoing case Wednesday.

‘Mr. Giannulli and Ms. Loughlin have waived their right to appear in person at the arraignment on Wednesday, and will be represented by their counsel,’ the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts told Deseret News Monday in a statement.

The couple was indicted by a federal grand jury in April amid accusations they tried to pay an admissions fixer $500,000 to have Olivia and Bella and recruited onto the University of Southern California’s rowing team in spite of their inexperience in the sport.

They have pleaded not guilty to fraud and money laundering charges in the case; last month, they were charged with bribery in connection with the case.

Their case returns to court for a January 17, 2020 hearing, though they will not be mandated to attend.

Loughlin’s longtime Full House co-star Andrea Barber told People Monday that the actress is ‘doing as good as possible’ amid her legal woes, and that her presence was missed when the cast filmed the show’s finale.

‘It was really sad and we could feel her absence,’ said the 43-year-old actress, who plays Kimmy Gibbler. ‘It just felt like there was a hole in the whole season but also in that final episode. She should’ve been there, and I’m sorry that she wasn’t.’

Barber called Loughlin ‘one of the sweetest, kindest and most down-to-earth people [she’s] ever met,’ adding, ‘she’s just a sweetheart, and she’ll always be family to me.’
