Speaking to the magazine after the ceremony, the athlete revealed she has only just started to recover from the horrific injury she attained during her time on The Jump in 2016.

Beth went crashing into barrier after one of her jumps, leaving her with two broken vertebrae in her neck – and unable to walk, dress or shower for many months.

Revealing she is still not back to full health after two years of treatment, she said: ‘There are still moments where I’ll do something and it hits home that it happened. I’m not 100 per cent better yet, physically or mentally.’

Her new husband, however, has been instrumental in helping nurse her back to health.
