Bethenny Frankel is clapping back at her haters after they criticized her runway walk during the Le Défilé L’Oréal Paris Walk Your Worth show in Paris this week – and she’s not mincing words.
The former Real Housewives of New York star, 53, hit the catwalk in a pair of sky-high, black patent-leather platforms and a strapless dress with floral detailing at the bust, but it wasn’t her outfit that drew attention, it was the walk.
Frankel walked in the show alongside A-listers like Kendall Jenner, Eva Longoria, Heidi Klum, Viola Davis and more.
However, many users quickly took to TikTok to slam the star for her strut after clips of the special moment surfaced online, with some saying that she looked ‘ridiculous’ and even comparing it to Ramona Singer’s disastrous runway walk during season three of RHONY.
A thread was even created on the r/BravoRealHousewives Reddit page to discuss her walk, garnering over 600 comments from fans.

‘She’s clearly trying SO hard to look like she’s relaxed and having fun but she looks so robotic!’ one person wrote.
Another agreed, ‘She looks like she’s being electrocuted, but has to pretend that she’s not.’
‘If an Adderall tablet could walk this is what it would look like,’ someone else joked.
But Frankel isn’t listening to what the haters are saying, as she hit back at the cynics in a new video posted to her TikTok.
The Skinnygirl mogul explained that she was actually the one to choose the shoes that she was wearing, and that it was completely her decision.
She said that she wanted to ‘be like a giraffe’ with ‘elongated legs’ that ‘walks a runway’ and looks like a different species.
‘I loved it, and the thing is, that that was what the show was about,’ Frankel explained.
‘It was about not being perfect, it was about being perfectly imperfect, and doing what you want to do.’

‘It’s so easy to sit and watch someone else do something and criticize it, but to get yourself to Paris and take your team who is so appreciative to go to Paris…’ the star continued.
She stressed the fact that she juggles multiple jobs and this was a unique opportunity for her, so she wanted to take full advantage.
The Big Shot With Bethenny reality star also said that she wanted to the runway in her ‘own way.’
‘It’s about individuality, and it was about every different culture and fashion and being worth it, and like what being worth it means is what you think,’ she said.
‘I’m like, I’m walking down and this how I’m doing it. This is the creative and personal choice that I’m making, and that’s what I did.
‘And I posted the video, because I live for it. I look it, and I’m like, you look like a giraffe, but that’s what I wanted,’ she concluded.
However, although she was met with some dejection from haters, she also garnered praise from some of her fans when she posted the video of her walk on her own page.

‘I am so incredibly overwhelmed, I have never experienced something like this,’ she said
Many seemed to admire her confidence and enthusiasm as she bravely made her Paris Fashion Week debut, which they expressed in the comments, cheering her on.
And, right after the big moment, Frankel also posted an emotional video of herself expressing gratitude for the opportunity, with tears streaming down her face.
‘I am so incredibly overwhelmed, I have never experienced something like this,’ she said.
‘This was insane, so thank you so much but truthfully it’s you guys, it was the ridiculousness of just posting about products I naturally liked.’
‘I am so grateful,’ the BStrong founder admitted.
