Beyonce follows in Taylor Swift’s footsteps as she plans to release Renaissance Tour film in theaters – after Swift raked in MILLIONS in presale tickets alone
Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour is headed to the big screen.
The Grammy winner, who like fellow superstar Taylor Swift has been filling up stadiums across the country, is joining the Cruel Summer singer in having her show turned into a cinematic extravaganza.
According to Deadline, Beyoncé’s concert film will arrive in theaters December 1, and take advantage of the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
It’s believed that crews used the hitmaker’s shows in her hometown, Houston, to shoot the footage.
The My Power artist has not announced the film release officially, but the consensus is she will confirm it to fans at her final concert in Kansas City Sunday.

The movie was given a waiver from the actors union, which is in the middle of a strike as SAG/AFTRA works to negotiate for better salaries and protections.
According to Deadline, pre-sales for Taylor’s film have already reached $65 million.
The projected opening is between $75 million and $125 million.
Swifties who were able to attend one of the concerts can re-live the experience and those who couldn’t will get a front row seat to one of the most successful shows in music history.
