Beyonce nearly takes a tumble on stage in sky-high heels

After months on the road with her OTRII tour, Beyonce knows her dance routines inside out.

But the star nearly took a nasty fall as she lost her footing while descending a steep set of stage stairs in sky-high heels at Nashville’s Vanderbilt Stadium on Thursday night.

But rather than disaster, the moment proved just why the singer has been dubbed Queen Bey, as she saved herself with incredible flair.

The queen in action: Beyonce stumbles on stage stairs in sky-high stilettos… but saves herself from fall with incredible high-kick at the Vanderbilt Stadium in Nashville, Thursday

The blink-and-miss-it moment happened when Beyonce’s right foot seemed to slip to the side as she walked.

Not even breaking her stride, the seasoned pro turned the slip-up into a quite fantastic dance move, dropping to the floor to regain her balance before kicking up her left leg in a high kick.

She then carried on her way, without missing a single beat.

The incredible moment was captured on camera by audience members, who shared it to Instagram.

User Mike Dupree shared the footage and wrote: ‘It’s called poise, children… #queenbey #otrii #nashville.’

And BenRealVsWorld, who works for Beyonce, captioned his video of the moment: ”Beyonce Vs “The Stairs”………. Beyonce Wins!’

This certainly isn’t the first time Beyonce has fallen on stage. Indeed the experienced performer memorably took a tumble at Coachella back in April.

The 36-year-old was dancing to Get Me Bodied with her younger sister Solange, 31, when Beyonce attempted to lift her sibling up.

The Halo hitmaker stumbled and fell to the floor, with Solange landing on top of her.

But – as footage captured on mobile phones by the crowd and posted on social media revealed – the sisters laughed and rolled around on the floor for a short time, before jumping back up and continuing with their performance.

Beyonce is known for turning her falls around.

Good save: Two years ago during her 2016 Super Bowl performance, she hopped backwards to correct a near-fall, effortlessly incorporating the move into her routine

Back in 2010 her foot skidded from under her as she performed in Florianopolis, Brazil. The former Destiny’s Child star only just saved herself from sliding into the crowd, but then simply stood up and carried on performing.

And way back in 2007 during the Beyonce Experience Tour, she tripped on her trench coat and slid down a dozen stairs while performing Ring The Alarm.
