Britain’s Got Talent winner Lost Voice Guy is advertising for a personal assistant on Gumtree.

Comedian Lee Ridley, who is now set to appear on the Royal Variety Show, is looking to pay the right person £100 a day to help him travel to gigs across the country.

The disabled 37-year-old posted the ad on the website in April just as he hit our screens as a stand up comedian on the ITV show – and the position still appears to be vacant.

Lee wrote: ‘I’m a disabled stand up comedian – based in Newcastle Upon Tyne – who needs help with travelling to my gigs across the country.

‘I have no speech and use a communication aid to speak with – google Lost Voice Guy to see my stuff.’

He adds: ‘I am currently looking for a few people who would be available as back up to my current staff to help me on a casual basis to drive me to my gigs that are outside of Newcastle.’

However, the comedian, who says he usually does three or four gigs a month ‘on average’, will probably have a much busier schedule now.

Lee brings his sense of humour to the advert, saying the assistant must ‘laugh at ALL of my jokes’ and adding: ‘It would probably also help if you liked me!’

He needs the personal assistant to be available a few days and evenings a month, have a driving licence and a car and help him him set up his iPad at the gig.

Lee says all expenses would be paid alongside £100 per day.

He is accepting applications until June 23 this year.

However, he might receive more than he was expecting now he has captured the hearts of the nation with his winning sense of humour.
