The stars of BH90210 paid a heartfelt tribute to their late Beverly Hills 90210 co-star Luke Perry in the premiere episode on Wednesday night.
The cast had previously teased that they will honor the late Perry, who passed away suddenly in March after suffering a stroke at the age of 50.
The primary tribute takes place towards the middle of the episode, after a bit of grand larceny by the cast, when Tori Spelling coaxes the cast into stealing a dress at the show’s 30 year reunion in Las Vegas.
After the ‘heist,’ the whole cast ends up on Brian Austin Green’s private jet as they leave Vegas behind, as a slightly drunken Tori Spelling says the dress she stole isn’t just hers, but it belongs to all of them.
She says the dress symbolizes ‘everything we created together,’ adding Shannen and Luke, which leads to a touching moment of silence for Perry.
‘We won’t always be here but what we made will be,’ Spelling adds, before they all raise their glasses and toast, ‘To Luke.’
