Big Brother star Josh Goudswaard slams the show for ‘total character assassination’

Big Brother star Josh Goudswaard slams the show for ‘total character assassination’ and threatens to speak out at the finale – after he was the first housemate to be evicted

Josh Goudswaard has slammed Big Brother Australia after he was the first housemate to be evicted from the house last week.

The 32-year-old model says he was cast as a ‘villain’ and didn’t get a fair chance.

‘I actually can’t watch any more of this season because I feel like it was a total character assassination on Mel (Todd) and myself,’ he said in a now-expired social media post.

‘I mean they just made me out as a villain. I am crazy but I am also really compassionate’.

Josh angrily told the publication that he plans to speak out when he attends the grand finale episode.

‘At finale they think they are going to gag me. F***ing try,’ he raged in the clip, adding that he is ‘not a doormat’ and can ‘stand up for myself’.

Josh however admitted that he ‘was one of the bullies in the house’ and deserved a dressing down.

Despite forming a strong alliance with two other housemates, he was booted off after being nominated against Estelle Landy and Samantha Manovski.

Josh’s exit came hours after he was awkwardly rejected by intimacy coach Samantha, who he had declared his love for after it was revealed the pair were ex-lovers away from the show.

Both Samantha and Josh received six votes in the eviction ceremony, with Joel Notley – who won the nomination challenge – casting the deciding vote.

He later told producers: ‘I pretty much got what I needed to get out of the experience, and gave the girl of my dreams what she needed, too. An opportunity for Australia to fall in love with her as much as I have.’

Hours earlier, Josh confessed his love to Samantha in the garden area – saying he still had strong feelings for her ever since they dated years prior.

But things didn’t quite go to plan, with Sam saying she ‘couldn’t promise’ that she might form a crush on him.
