Big Brother VIP: Winner ‘leaked’ as betting odds point to a clear winner

The bookies are rarely wrong when it comes to reality TV predictions.

And both Sportsbet and TAB have identified a clear favourite to win the upcoming season of Big Brother VIP: Luke Toki.

The two-time Australian Survivor star has the shortest odds out of the entire cast on TAB, sitting at $3.50 as of Wednesday.

He has even shorter odds on Sportsbet at $2.75.

While Luke is the front-runner according to both online bookmakers, their predictions otherwise differ wildly.

This is perhaps because the series hasn’t finished filming yet, meaning their odds are not based on insider knowledge.

Sportsbet, for example, is tipping former Big Brother star Danny Hayes for runner-up with odds of $3.50.

By contrast, TAB has Caitlyn Jenner in second place at $4.

This is despite the fact she only spent a week in the Big Brother house and is now back in California running a gubernatorial campaign.

Sportsbet has accounted for Caitlyn’s brief stint on the show, giving her the longest odds out of all the housemates: $34.

Interestingly, all betting agencies are tipping the international VIPs to make an early exit, with Omarosa and Thomas Markle Jr both facing long odds.

Daily Mail Australia understands Omarosa left the compound shortly after Caitlyn.

Elsewhere, Kyle Sandilands’ ex-girlfriend Imogen Anthony has odds of $21 (Sportsbet) and $15 (TAB), and Married At First Sight star Jessika Power is also an outsider at $13 (Sportsbet) and $21 (TAB).

Meanwhile, Seven’s Big Brother VIP has reportedly been thrown into crisis after the show’s two biggest international stars left in the first week.

Reality TV personality-turned-politician Caitlyn Jenner and former Trump aide Omarosa Newman have both left the Sydney compound – leaving behind only local celebrities and the estranged half-brother of Meghan Markle, Thomas Markle Jr.

With filming only halfway completed, producers are said to be panicking there won’t be enough star power to sustain the new series when it airs later this year.

‘Endemol Shine Australia [the production company behind Big Brother] is freaking out. They’ve lost their two biggest tickets,’ an insider told Daily Mail Australia.

‘Caitlyn is already back in the U.S. and Omarosa was sent home not long after.’

Jenner, 71, and Omarosa, 47, are believed to have only committed to a few episodes.

Meanwhile, the producers are said to be ‘doing everything they can’ to keep Markle Jr in the house for as long as possible ‘so there is still some overseas interest’.

However, another source rubbished the claims, saying the upcoming series was ‘an absolute killer show in the making’ and that its cast had exceeded all expectations.

The former Olympian, who is rumoured to have been paid $500,000 to appear on Big Brother VIP, then shared a picture of her dog Bertha and captioned it: ‘So happy to be back in California!’

Filming for the new season began in Sydney on July 30, after Jenner had completed her mandatory two weeks of hotel quarantine.

Her swift return to America all but confirms she will be one of the first contestants to leave Big Brother VIP when it airs on Seven later this year.

Big Brother VIP is set to air in the coming months, with other housemates including Thomas Markle Jr, Married at First Sight’s Jessika Power and AFL star Dayne Beams.

The cast also features Kyle Sandilands’ ex-girlfriend Imogen Anthony, NRL player Matt Cooper, actor Bernard Curry and model Ellie Gonsalves.
