Big Brother’s Josh Carroll taunts a seagull with his lunchtime burger on a Sydney beach – but it doesn’t go according to plan


Big Brother VIP star Josh Carroll wasn’t impressed after an encounter with a seagull on a Sydney beach on Thursday.

The 31-year-old shared a video to Instagram taunting a seagull with his lunchtime burger as he sat on the sand.

But Josh got the the shock of his life when the bird outsmarted him and indeed took a bite from his meal.

‘What are you trying to do? Is this what you want?’ Josh said as he held his burger out.

The seagull then leaped forward with lightning speed, and took a hearty peck at Josh’s meal. 

‘Don’t come any closer,’ a frustrated Josh yelped, shocked at the bird’s cheek.

Josh is a housemate on the current season of Channel Seven’s Big Brother VIP.

Last week, the Sydney based influencer revealed he suffers from crippling social anxiety and shared the main reason why he applied for the show.

‘I wanted to come on here and show people I’m more than just your standard Instagram w*****,’ he began.

‘I’m never at events, I’m never in the typical Sydney scene,’ he told now-former housemate Danny Hayes.

‘I get panicked easily in crowds, I have crazy social anxiety, so I’m pleased I could come on this show and mingle with a bunch of – lack of a better word – randoms.’

‘I never in a million years thought I could do that,’ he added.

Josh explained to Danny that he is able to manage his anxiety through exercise.

‘So yeah, I’m extremely pleased that I was able to come on this show, push myself to mingle with a bunch of – for lack of a better word – randoms, for 24 hours a day, seven days a week.’

‘Never would think in a million years I would do something like that,’ he admitted.
