Big Brother’s Tully Smyth snaps selfies at Australian Open

She’s the former Big Brother star, who’s no stranger to the spotlight.

And Tully Smyth was the centre of attention at the Australian Open in Melbourne on Thursday.

The social media enthusiast was snapped taking selfies and having animated conversations with mates as she sat in the stands at Melbourne Park.

Dressed in a chic white Shona Joy summer dress and tan-coloured heels, the 30-year-old appeared distracted from the match as she explored different photo filters in her smartphone.

She seemed to be in high spirits while clutching a drink in one hand and a smartphone in the other as she documented her experience on Instagram.

‘Amazing seats as always,’ she captioned one image tagging airline Emirates.

The outing comes after Tully was recently forced to hit back at accusations she sneaks into a private pool, to take snaps for her social media pages.

The blogger, who boasts 228,000 Instagram followers, told Daily Mail Australia on Monday that whilst she used to live in the apartment block with the pool, she frequents the pool as she’s still friends with some residents – who allow her access.

Her management said in a statement: ‘Yes Tully did previously live in the apartment block and has since moved just next door.’

‘However, she also has friends who still live there and told her she is welcome to come over for a swim whenever she wishes!’

It comes after a source told Daily Mail Australia that Tully kept an access code to the pool in a residential apartment block, that she used to live in over a year ago.

‘Ms Smyth moved out months ago, however has kept the access code and has been accessing the pool whilst the legitimate residents are at work,’ the source said.

The pool in question frequently appears on Tully’s Instagram page, with Tully posting a smiling selfie from the pool just days ago.

Taking to her Instagram stories, the blonde socialite defended her eating habits and strict exercise regimen.

‘I’ve had a couple of comments that say I look sick, or that I look too thin, or that I would look better with a few extra kgs on me. Um, these comments are kind of just as hurtful than people telling me that I’ve put on weight or I look chubby,’ she explained in the selfie-style video.

‘First off, I know my angles. It’s literally part of my job to take photos, so I know how to stand and hold my body so it looks the way I want it to look. That’s like 101 Instagram,’ she snapped.

Tully continued: ‘And secondly- and probably most importantly- and there has been plenty of proof of this on my social media channels, but I train really hard. I work out six days a week. And I do this so that I can eat whatever the hell I want to eat.’
