The recalled machines don’t have insulated pins on the plug
Lack of insulation on plug pins means that if it comes into contact with other metal it can create an electric shock.
The current pins don’t meet the safety requirements.
Karaoke machines purchased before June 1 are not impacted by this recall.
People with the faulty machines have been advised to stop using it immediately and unplug the toy.
Customers can return the product to their local Big W store for a full refund.
They can also contact the distributor for a replacement.
