Big W issues urgent recall for babies’ onesies over fears they are a fire hazard

An urgent recall has been made for baby coveralls sold at Big W stores over fears they are a fire hazard.
The department store issued the recall notice on Thursday for infants clothing, size 0000-1, which featured the slogan ‘That’s Not My ….’.
The warning was sparked as the items are missing crucial fire hazard information.

‘Customers should immediately cease using the coverall and return it to any BIG W store for a full refund,’ the recall notice said.
‘The garments do not carry the fire hazard information label as required by the mandatory standard ‘Consumer Goods Safety Standard 2017.’
A Big W spokeswoman told Daily Mail Australia there have been no reported incidents with the coveralls and the recall was made as a precaution.
‘We are committed to the safety of our customers and their families, therefore we recalled the infant coveralls because they did not carry the fire hazard information label that is required by the mandatory standard for Children’s Nightwear and Limited Daywear.’
She said all of their stores will refund customers at any BIG W with or without a receipt.
The clothing was sold in Big W stores across the country from January 24 to February 2.
