Australian discount department chain Big W has launched a massive clearance sale across hundreds of items, with prices slashed by up to 70 per cent.

Customers can expect big savings on toys, makeup and skincare, home appliances, kitchenware and stationery – as the festive shopping onslaught begins.

The nationwide sale includes nearly 800 discounted products, available online or in-stores or a limited time only, or while stocks last.

Treat yourself to a lounge room makeover with a floor lamp for half price at just $19.50, or a flower glass vase for $9.50, throw for $9.50, mirrored clock for $9.50, eight-pack photo frames for $12.50 and a succulent glass dome for $9.50.

For half price, you can find a big range of bakeware, including cake pans for $4.50, muffin trays from $6, roasting trays and baking pans for $6 and cooking racks for $6.

With Christmas just 20 days away, parents can grab last-minute toys for just a fraction of the price, including The Wiggles Emma plush toy for $14, Star Wars figurines from $9, Nerf water blaster for $14 and Lego sets from $10.

For just $10, parents can also find children’s hooded bath towels, available in a unicorn, shark, bumble bee, sheep, kitty cat and dinosaur.
