Bikini brand Farron Swim flooded complaints missing orders

Bikini brand to the stars Farron Swim has been accused of failing to deliver orders and process refunds.

Started in 2014 by Ashton Smith, from Queensland’s North Stradbroke Island, Farron Swim fast became associated with models and actresses such as Melissa George.

A long line of unresolved complaints about undelivered orders, unprocessed refunds and poor customer service has now seen the brand reported to NSW Fair Trading.

Some customers have even compared Farron Swim to Shakuhachi, an Australian fashion label that folded after a deluge of similar complaints.

‘Your company is a complete scam – just another Shakuhachi. I have been waiting since Feb for my refund,’ wrote one furious customer on Facebook. 

‘This company is completely useless!’ said another. 

Farron Swim’s page is home to comments from multiple users demanding answers about missing orders and refunds.

Canberra-based university student Orla Tomlinson, 20, made a $200 order on Boxing Day but has not heard back since,The Sydney Morning Herald reported.

‘It makes me really angry. I hate when my money is out of my bank and it’s doing nothing, I have nothing,’ she said. 

‘I am a student, I work hard to buy expensive stuff and I feel very betrayed.’

The comments on a popular Product Review are similar, with Farron Swim receiving no rating higher than one star.

One irate customer has even set up an Instagram page titled Farron Swim Scammers, and claims the company deletes negative comments from their photos.

Many of the angry customers say they have reported Farron Swim to NSW Fair Trading, but a spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia they were unable to confirm or deny whether official complaints have been made.

Bali-based Shakuhachi went into voluntary administration two years ago after business losses and over 150 complaints to NSW Fair Trading.
