Bikini-clad influencer is scolded by Bondi locals for ‘entitled’ act at Instagram hotspot

Aussies have mercilessly mocked an ‘entitled’ beachgoer after she commandeered a picturesque background to take a selfie.

In a video shared to the influencersinthewild Instagram account, a woman in a pink bikini can be seen walking along the edge of Bondi’s famous Icebergs seawater pool in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

A boy who stood there admiring the ocean was interrupted by the woman tapping him on the shoulder and appearing to ask him to move, while pointing at another man standing on the other side of the pool.

He stepped aside as the woman struck a number of modelling poses and her male companion took photos on his phone.

Two men filming from the clubhouse overlooking the pool provided comical commentary of the exchange.

‘Get out of my way, you f***ing infantile little prick,’ one jokingly narrated.

The other quipped: ‘The ‘Excuse me I’m trying to take a selfie. Can you f*** off?’

The original narrator then hits on an amusing idea.

‘I will literally go on Airtasker right now and just get somebody to continuously do bombies (dive bombs) in off that corner,’ he joked.

‘I will pay a f***ing premium for that,’ the other replied.

The clip captioned ‘Tell me you’re in Bondi without telling me you’re in Bondi’ was inundated with hundreds of comments

Many viewers were shocked at the woman’s behaviour.

One claimed to know the boy who was asked to move.

‘He is 12yrs old and was watching his dad who was swimming in the ocean. Shame on her for asking him to move,’ they wrote.

Another added: ‘Asking a young boy who was quietly looking at the ocean to move is abhorrent.’

‘Shame them, so gross.’

A third wrote: ‘Should have said no and continued to stand there.’

One described the clip as ‘the most Bondi thing ever.’

‘Moral of the story is, if an ‘influencer’ asks you to move, charge them,’ another commented.

‘I’d say $50 USD.’

The online backlash prompted some viewers to leap to the woman’s defence and believed it wasn’t a huge deal.

‘Honestly, what’s the issue? We have no idea how long that person was standing in that spot before she approached. He doesn’t own the spot either. It’s absolutely fine to ask someone to grab a photo and then they can go back to what they were doing before,’ one wrote.

Another added: ‘I don’t see it as entitled if someone else is hogging the view for themselves. It’s not a big deal.’

A third wrote: ‘He still got the view, she got the photo, everyone’s happy.’

Other viewers expressed their appreciation for the commentary.

‘Aussie commentating for the win! I will also donate to the Bondi bombies fund,’ one quipped.
