In the wake of sexual misconduct revelations about Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey and dozens of other men, millions worldwide have shared their stories about being sexually harassed and assaulted.

The movement began spontaneously in October after actress-activist Alyssa Milano followed on a suggestion from a friend of a friend on Facebook and tweeted: ‘If you’ve been sexually harassed or assaulted write ‘me too’ as a reply to this tweet.’

The hashtag was tweeted nearly a million times in 48 hours. The #MeToo movement was founded by activist Tarana Burke on Twitter a decade ago to raise awareness about sexual violence.

The intimate image, which appears to be a creative piece, has also sparked pregnancy speculation, with one fan asking: ‘Are you pregnant?’.

Another follower mentioned: ‘Way to weird people out’.

The child star preciously spoke about pregnancy rumours in 2014, when she also revealed she sadly suffered from a devastating miscarriage while filming a post rehab reality show for Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network in 2014.

Lindsay’s representatives have been contacted for comment.

In the clip, she said: ‘No one knows this, I had a miscarriage for those two weeks that I took off. It’s a very long story.’

Lindsay did not reveal the identity of the father when she made the confession.

Following the mysterious social media post, the star has been seen wearing a hijab – a traditional headscarf worn by Muslim women – on several occasions.

Earlier this year, the star accused airport staff of ‘racially profiling’ her after she was asked to remove her head covering while travelling from Turkey to New York.

Since moving abroad to Dubai, the Parent Trap actress has been studying the Koran and while she said the holy book provides her ‘solace’ she has remained mum about whether or not she’s converted.

Lindsay recently discussed her favorite parts of ex-pat life while chatting at Daily Mail’s Holiday Wrap party in NYC earlier this month.

‘I love living in New York, but I do love the serenity and peace that I find living in the Middle East because there are no cameras in Dubai and I can actually focus on what I want to do in life,’ she explained.

She revealed that living in Dubai lets her control when she wants to be in the spotlight.

‘I don’t always have to be scrutinized every second. I can have a private life and have a public life, but when I choose to. And I think that’s really important,’ the star said.
