A glamorous bikini model has admitted to drink driving three years after she slammed into parked cars while under the influence.

Mary Kate Karskens, 34, was pulled over by police at Haberfield in Sydney’s inner- west Sydney at 6.30am for a random breath test last month.

‘I am really sorry,’ she told Burwood Local Court on Tuesday after returning a reading of 0.051, The Daily Telegraph reported.

The court heard Karskens told officers she had not eaten the night before and had consumed ‘three 200ml vodka and lemonade mixers’.

Karskens was disqualified from driving for one month and placed on a 12 month interlock order, preventing her from starting her car while over the legal limit.

In October 2016, Karskens crashed into a parked car while driving on Anzac Parade at Kingsford.

She recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.130, nearly three times above the legal limit, and also admitted consuming Valium before the crash.

Ms Karskens, who has appeared in the hit SBS comedy Fat Pizza, suffered two 5cm cuts to her forehead after smashing it into the steering wheel in the crash.

‘She stated she could not remember any details other than taking one Valium and drinking three glasses of champagne about 30 minutes before entering the vehicle,’ court papers obtained by the Daily Telegraph stated.

Witnesses to the crash described viewing Karskens’ car swerving across the road before the collision.

Court papers also revealed that after the collision a witness removed Ms Karskens’ keys from the ignition as she appeared to be trying to ‘flee’.
