Thursday’s event was day one of the championship tour. The Longines Global Champions Tour is expected to finish on Saturday.

Jennifer, who started horse-back riding when she was six, is said to a top up-and-coming equestrian.

In January, the 22-year-old was awarded the 2018 Lionel Gurrand-Hermes Trophy by the United States Equestrian Team Foundation.

The foundation described her as a stellar student in the classroom, who balances her riding career with her studies.

Jennifer, the oldest child of Bill and Melinda Gates, recently graduated from Stanford University with a degree in human biology. She will focus on her riding career and then enroll in medical school, according to the website for Evergate Stables, an equestrian team created for Jennifer.

Jennifer will reportedly focus on her riding before moving to New York for medical school

The New York Post reported in May that Jennifer will attend medical school in New York. In December, her billionaire parents bought her a $5million condo in Upper Carnegie Hill.

According to Architectural Digest, the three-bedroom, 2, 389 square foot apartment once belonged to NBA star Carmelo Anthony, and his wife, LaLa. The lavish condo features windows overlooking Central Park and has a gym, children’s playroom and a residents’ lounge.

In addition to the pricey pad Bill Gates, who once told the Daily Mail that his three children would only get a ‘minuscule portion’ of his wealth, dropped nearly $16million on a 124-acre horse farm in Westchester County for Jennifer.

It used to be owned by former race car driver and entrepreneur Duncan Dayton.

Jennifer has competed in a number of equestrian events including the Bonheiden International Horse Show and the Uryadi’s Village Grand Prix.
