Bill Maher eviscerates Trump ‘BS whisperer’ confidante Laura Loomer as he makes bold election night prediction

Liberal comedian Bill Maher slammed Donald Trump’s new ‘bulls—‘ whisperer Laura Loomer after the right wing firebrand was spotted with the president in recent days.

The comic also predicted that Trump’s performance at the debate is a sign that ‘it’s over for him’ in the election.

Trump says Laura Loomer does not have a role in his campaign and disagrees with some of her recent statements but is grateful for her support as the MAGA Civil War over her presence rages.

Lefty Maher said on her HBO show that Loomer is ‘for MAGA World, for people who find Marjorie Taylor Greene too intellectual’.

He claimed that Trump is getting his theories about Haitian migrants eating pets in Springfield, Ohio from Loomer, who Maher referred to as the former president’s ‘new bulls— whisperer’, saying that ‘he’s with her everywhere now’.

‘You name the crazy s—, she believes in it. You’ve heard of Florida Man? She’s Florida Woman’, he added.

Maher then went on to argue that Trump’s performance at Tuesday’s debate would be what causes him to lose in November.

‘Tonight I’m saying: I think it’s over’, Maher claimed, comparing Trump to Joe McCarthy, who eventually burned out politically.

Maher’s guests, conservative pollster Kristen Soltis Anderson and former Democrat Senator Al Franken, did not appear to agree.

‘I do not share your confidence’, Soltis Anderson responded.

‘The reality is that people have known Donald Trump and known who he is for a very long time. When you ask people ‘Do you need to know more about these candidates?’ with Kamala Harris, they say yes… but when you ask that about Trump, only a fraction of voters say that they do’.

Maher then claimed that the polls will remain ‘tied’ until election day but that ultimately, Trump will lose.

Franken sarcastically looked relieved: ‘Phew, thank God. I hope you’re right’.

Loomer has become a regular fixture at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home despite her outlandish views, and this week made racist comments about Trump’s opponent Kamala Harris.

Earlier Friday, Trump said at a press conference that he’s unaware of the controversy surrounding Loomer and said he doesn’t control her.

In a more complete statement Friday on Truth Social, Trump appeared to disavow some of her more controversial remarks: ‘Laura Loomer doesn’t work for the Campaign. She’s a private citizen and longtime supporter. I disagree with the statements she made’.

However, he then continued with a statement of support for a woman who said 9/11 was an inside job and that if Kamala Harris ‘the White House will smell like curry & White House speeches will be facilitated via a call center’.

At a press conference at his Los Angeles golf club in front of the Pacific Ocean on Friday, Trump refused to criticize her.

‘I don’t control Laura,’ he said. ‘I can’t tell Laura what to do. She’s a supporter.’

Instead he called her a ‘free spirit’ and claimed to know nothing about the offending post she made about curry and call centers.

Vice President Harris is the daughter of Indian and Jamaican immigrants.

Her presence on Trump’s private jet has alarmed many of the former president’s allies who believe that she is hurting his chances of winning over new voters.

DailyMail.com reported Friday that Loomer’s presence in Trumpworld are part of signs that Trump’s presidential campaign is reeling and even at war – with itself.

When contacted by the Mail, the Trump campaign did not comment on why Loomer was allowed to fly with the president – but a campaign source distanced themselves from her.

Meanwhile, outrage among prominent Trump allies over Loomer’s relationship with Trump is now exploding into public view.

An array of Republicans from Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor-Greene to Sen. Lindsey Graham have denounced Loomer, with Taylor-Greene calling her past remarks ‘appalling and extremely racist.’

Last year, Trump reportedly asked his team to add Loomer to the campaign payroll and he was rebuffed at Wiles’ direction. She was keeping ‘the crazies’ out, a person involved in the 2024 campaign told NBC News in April 2023.

Loomer, a twice failed Congressional candidate in Florida and self-described ‘proud Islamophobe’, raised eyebrows as she was spotted attending Trump’s debate showdown with Kamala Harris – with some observers noticing her appearing to be cozying up to the former president.

While she has no official role in the campaign, it was reported in April 2023 that Trump was intent on offering Loomer a job, only for the proposition to be met with dismay from his aides.

And after re-appearing in Trump world at the debate, the bad blood between Loomer and some influential Republicans continued when she took to Twitter – one of the many platforms she has been banned from in the past – to offer a prediction.

‘If Kamala Harris wins, the White House will smell like curry,’ she tweeted.

Loomer first captured attention in conservative circles around 2015, when she was suspended from Barry University in Florida after attempting to create the ‘Sympathetic Students in Support of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria’ club.

Although Loomer allegedly created the group to prove woke students would support ISIS, it only led to her being suspended for breaching student code of conduct and allegations that she filmed people without their consent.

In the years since, Loomer has been seen by her critics, including those on the right, as an attention-seeking influencer who hopes for controversy, also including floating theories that the 2018 Parkland school shooting – where 17 people were killed – was staged.

She has routinely catapulted off controversies to boost her brand, also including a high-profile ban from Uber after arguing that users should be allowed to choose non-Muslim drivers.

Since she joined Trump’s campaign, officially or unofficially, as the 2024 presidential race enters its home stretch, insiders are increasingly pointing the finger at Loomer as the source of Trump’s troubles.

Trump again opened fresh wounds by inviting Loomer to join him as he paid his respects to the victims of 9/11 at Ground Zero in Manhattan.

A usually somber event attended by ex-presidents, Loomer’s appearance drew attention away from the tribute as her provocative past resurfaced.

Just one year prior, she shared a video to X that claimed 9/11 ‘was an inside job’, and implied it was linked to a scandal at the time over the federal government allegedly ‘losing’ trillions in government funds.

While painted by some of her critics as a fringe player in the world of Republican politics, Loomer has not been without some success among the GOP electorate.

In 2020, she defeated five opponents to win the Republican primary in Florida’s 21st Congressional District with 43 percent of the vote.

However, she went on to lose to incumbent Lois Frankel in the deep blue district – but Loomer’s aspirations for office were not done.

A year after her defeat, she announced her candidacy for Florida’s 11st district, where Donald Trump is notably a registered voter.

Although she failed to advance out of the Republican primary, Loomer’s diehard commitment to MAGA was on full display as she – like Trump in 2020 – refused to concede her loss to Rep. Daniel Webster.

In an election night speech, Loomer called out vague allegations of voter fraud and argued that ‘big tech’ targeted her candidacy, telling a crowd: ‘I’m not conceding because I’m a winner.’
