Billie Eilish received a Brit Billion Award on Wednesday after surpassing one billion UK streams.

The American singer, 21, was presented with the award, as calculated by the Official Charts Company, during a trip to London where she played a secret show.

At just 17, Billie became the youngest female artist in UK chart history to score a Number 1 album with her debut When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?.

Four years later, she continues to lead the UK charts having reached the top spot yet again in the Official Singles chart with What Was I Made For – her ninth UK Top 10 single.

The Grammy-award winning single Bad Guy alone has over 300m streams, with six other tracks crossing the 100m mark.

Billie’s UK fanbase continues to grow as she became the youngest artist to top the bills at Reading and Leeds festival just last week.

On Tuesday evening, Billie performed a secret show at The Electric Ballroom in Camden.

She flashed a huge smile as she departed the venue in a car while waving at fans who had lined the street.

The singer wore a casual black Nike hoodie and acessorised with lots of chunky silver jewellery.

Billie showed off her sense of style as she sported her signature dark hair with colourful roots.
