The heartbroken mother of an Australian Billie Eilish superfan who died suddenly aged 19 has revealed her daughter’s tragic final moments.
Skylar Davies, from the New South Wales south coast, died on Boxing Day after her heart stopped beating.
She’d spent Christmas with her family after returning from university in Sydney when she suddenly collapsed while shopping at the Boxing Day sales.
Paramedics desperately fought to save Skylar for an hour but they could not get her heart to restart.

Skylar’s mother Leigh Davies said her ‘kind and talented’ daughter felt ‘dizzy’ in her final seconds before her heart stopped, and that she quickly lost consciousness.
‘We never got out angel back,’ she told Daily Mail Australia.
‘The grief is truly overwhelming.’
Mrs Davies said she was suffering ‘excruciating’ pain following her daughter’s death, which came as a horrendous shock.
She had only two days ago posted a photo online showing Skylar and her younger brother Gabriel meeting Father Christmas.
Skylar’s father Rob has launched a fundraiser to help pay for the family’s expenses while they recover from the shock of losing their eldest child.

The 19-year-old loved American singer-songwriter Eilish and spoke of her joy at meeting the Ocean Eyes hitmaker earlier this year
‘There are no words to express our grief,’ he said. ‘Skylar was our world and we are deeply heartbroken.’
‘Skylar was a genuine and kind soul, who touched many with her beautiful nature and creative talent. We really can’t believe she is gone.
‘Our hearts break more each day as the reality that Skylar isn’t coming back sinks in. It’s hard to believe that beautiful heart just stopped, when she still had so much life to live.’
He added that Skylar was just starting out in life, with a tight circle of friends and the rest of a university course to look forward to.
Skylar was a massive fan of the American singer-songwriter Billie Eilish, who spoke of her heartbreak in a flurry of Instagram posts on Friday.
‘Rest easy beautiful girl,’ the singer wrote, alongside pictures of the pair together in April.
‘Sending every ounce of love I have to Skylar’s family and friends. My heart is shattered,’ she added.

The teenager’s Instagram posts show her lust for life, with photos showing the glamorous teenager making the most of her time in Sydney after moving to the city for university.
The highlight of her year appeared to be meeting Eilish at her gig at Hordern Pavilion in Sydney on April 30.
‘Last night I met the love of my life & I am forever grateful,’ Skylar wrote, accompanying her message with a heart emoji.
