The multimillion-dollar shopping bonanza has officially started and some of Australia’s biggest retailers are already offering huge discounts.
But as speculation surrounding Amazon’s impending arrival mounts, are all the local deals about to be blown out of the water by the online retail giant?

Target’s doors are opening from 6am on Black Friday and the store has some real stand out offers this year.
They are offering a whopping $100 off a Playstation, $100 off a LG 55-inch 4K UHD TV and $50 off a Fitbit.
It’s also buy one, get one 50 per cent off top toy brands, including Hot Wheels, Leap Frog, Transformers and Nerf.

The cult home appliance brand rarely go on sale, but this Black Friday vacuum-cleaner enthusiasts will be able to pick up a bargain.
David Jones is offering 25-30 per cent off selected Dyson appliances.
A selection of both full-size and cordless vacuums have hundreds of dollars slashed from their prices, but only for the next few days.
