A father-of-three has recalled how he feared for his life as he was dragged along a main road by a truck after a minor collision escalated into a terrifying road rage incident.
Emergency services were called to the scene after Amin Saidiwi, 40, was mowed down by the truck on Blacktown Road in Sydney’s west last Friday.
Police allege he was deliberately struck after he accused a truck driver of hitting his SUV.
Harrowing CCTV showed the shocking moment the truck ploughed into Mr Saidiwi, leaving him clinging onto the front bumper for dear life.
As the truck slowed down, he slipped from the bumper and fell before his body was caught under a wheel.
As his wife Sajedeh Mohsni watched on in horror, Mr Saidiwi was dragged 15 metres down the road while stuck underneath the vehicle.
The truck driver allegedly fled the scene before emergency services arrived.
Five days on, Mr Saidiwi remains in hospital recovering from serious leg injuries.

‘(I thought) I will die,’ Mr Saidiwi told 7News from his hospital bed.
‘Then I’m thinking for the kids, I’m thinking for the family.
‘I can’t walk. I can’t (sit). I can’t do anything because both legs (are in) very bad pain.
His wife chased after the truck, begging the driver to stop.
”I just run, run, run to tell him ‘please stop! Stop. Don’t kill him. Stop’,’ she recalled.
She stopped chasing after Mr Saidiwi finally rolled his body free from the truck.
‘I just see my husband… coming out. I don’t know (whether or not he’s dead),’ Ms Mohsni said.
