Blaze breaks out in tower building on Macquarie Street in Sydney’s CBD

A massive blaze has broken out in an office tower on Macquarie Street in the heart of Sydney.

It is understood that the fire started in a construction site above a cafe near to the Parliament House of New South Wales.

Bystanders in the busy area of the city captured footage of the flames climbing up the scaffolding-clad building.
