Blooming beautiful! Princess Eugenie shows off her baby bump as she steps out with her husband Jack

Princess Eugenie showed off her baby bump as she took a walk with her husband Jack Brooksbank over the weekend.

The mother-of-one, 33, who welcomed her first son August two years ago, announced in January that she is expecting a second child with her husband Jack.

And weeks ago her mother Sarah Ferguson appeared to let slip her due date, saying the baby was due ‘by the end of May.’

Despite her seemingly imminent due date, Princess Eugenie looked relaxed as she joined her husband Jack for a walk in west London on Friday.

The royal opted for a flowing blue floral smock for the occasion, donning a pair of sunglasses to shield her eyes from the sun.

Meanwhile she wore her hair in loose waves around her shoulders, and opted for a neutral makeup look.

The couple appeared loved-up as they strolled along the sunny London street, putting their arms around one another as they entered a trendy shop to browse.

They later held hands as they walked across the road, apparently chatting as they awaited the arrival of their newborn.

It marked a rare outing for Eugenie, who hasn’t been seen in public  since 16 May and is expected any day now.

In the Instagram post announcing her pregnancy earlier this year, Eugenie posted a photograph taken by her husband, showing her son August embracing her and kissing her bump in a field.

And earlier this month, Eugenie’s mother Sarah Ferguson appeared to let slip her youngest daughter’s due date.

Sarah told Hello!: ‘We don’t know what it is yet. But the baby is due by the end of May, I think. So it’s any minute now.’

During the interview with Hello, Prince Andrew’s ex-wife described herself as ‘one of the best grannies ever’, as she said she thinks ‘like a three-year-old’.

Despite being heavily pregnant, the royal had a busy start to the month, but appears to have slowed down with her due date approaching.

Princess Eugenie, who is already mother to two-year-old August, was glowing on the Coronation weekend as she took part in several events to celebrate her uncle King Charles being crowned.

As she and the family arrived at Westminster Abbey on 6 May to take their seats for the ceremony, Prince Harry, who sat with his cousin was pictured looking astonished at her baby bump.

Expert lip reader Jacqui Press deciphered his words to Eugenie, with whom he is incredibly close, as he saw her at the entrance to the Abbey.

She claims he said: ‘Wow, amazing look at the bump!’, using his hands to indicate to a heavily-pregnant Eugenie’s tummy.

‘I know‘, her husband Jack Brooksbank replied, smiling as he walked to his seat.

Meanwhile Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi visited the Chelsea Flower Show last week in a stand-in for Princess Eugenie.

Beatrice, 34, appeared at a show garden by Horatio’s Garden, which has been designed for people with spinal injuries, and posed for photos in the sunshine on the hottest day of the year.

Princess Eugenie is a patron of the charity. As she posted the photos of Beatrice and Edo at the event, she suggested her older sibling was representing her as she rests ahead of the birth.

The princess wrote: ‘I’m such a proud patron of this charity and my sister loved visiting yesterday.’

Last month, Fergie said she loves being a grandmother and said her grandchildren find her ‘very funny’.

She told OK! magazine: ‘It’s a whole new phase of life and I am modelling myself on Super Gran.

‘I love being with them and how it brings out my inner child. My grandchildren seem to find me very funny. I love indulging them, too.’
