‘All that gear and training for nothing!’ Blundering BBC producer leaves viewers in hysterics as he FALLS into live segment before scrabbling to get out of shot
A blundering BBC producer hilariously fell into shot during a live link on BBC Breakfast on Wednesday morning.
Business reporter Nina Warhurst was presenting a segment on inflation from a café at the time the field producer tumbled into view.
The camera panned round as the embarrassed producer was on the deck behind Nina while scrabbling to grab his phone and regain composure.

He could be seen trying to regain balance on the floor and picking up his dropped belongings.
However, the loud fall left no place to hide as the producer crawled to cover. As Nina moved to interview the café owner in Altrincham, Manchester, she tried not to laugh.
The producer’s tumble did not go unnoticed by other BBC colleagues, who took to Twitter to share that he has been ‘getting stick from the office’ since the blooper.
Cameraman Keith Jacobsen even shared a clip of the embarrassing moment.

He captioned it: ‘That moment when your field producer realises he’s going to be in shot as you pan, and tries in vain to hide… sorry buddy!’
One viewer was clearly tickled by the moment as they responded: ‘Watched your other pieces this morning and found myself looking for any potential floor manager crawling around on the floor in the background’.
Others penned: ‘TV gold moments and proves Live broadcast don’t always go to plan… All that gear and training and experience, all for nought’.

Keith then added: ‘Poor guy, he’s been getting so much stick from the office since!’
Fellow BBC producer Peter Ruddick was quick to emphasise with his colleague.
He wrote: ‘Oh Adam. I’ve been there.’
