‘I’m slowly on the mend’: TOWIE’s Bobby Norris shares picture from his hospital bed and praises the ‘incredible NHS’ after suffering from a mystery illness

TOWIE’s Bobby Norris shared a picture from his hospital bed on Instagram on Wednesday after suffering from a mystery illness. 

The reality star, 34, said he as ‘slowly on the mend’ as he thanked the ‘incredible NHS’ for looking after him.  

Bobby wore a black face mask for the snap and an Adidas T-shirt.

Bobby penned: ‘I just want to shout out to our incredible NHS who have been amazing and helped me so much over the last couple of weeks! 

‘I’m slowly on the mend. Thank you for all your lovely messages. X’

It is unclear what Bobby has been suffering from and MailOnline has contacted a representative for comment.

He received an incredible amount of support in the comments, most notably from his TOWIE co-stars.

Georgia Kousoulou, who has recently become a mum, wrote: ‘Hope your ok Bob [heart emoji]’.

Amber Turner also sent well wishes, writing: ‘Get well soon bobs [heart emoji]’.

Fans flooded the comments to question what had happened to the star, but nothing was formally confirmed.

It is not the first time Bobby has credited the NHS. 

Back in May, he shared a picture of him receiving his second COVID vaccination.

He said: ‘FULLY VACCINATED!! Thank you so much to our amazing NHS staff and volunteers for the wonderful work that they have done during this pandemic..’.

Bobby also took on the role of a volunteer vaccinator to support the frontline services.

He said he wasn’t aware how emotional it would be to witness people’s happiness at receiving their vaccines – and described working with St John Ambulance as an ‘honour’.
