A body hidden among bushes has been found dumped at the side of a road in a Sydney suburb. 

The grim discovery was made by a passing motorist on Wednesday at 10.30pm in Homebush, in Sydney’s west. 

Police have launched a homicide investigation into death, which they are treating as suspicious.

The local police have established a crime scene as forensic examinations continue. 

Detectives from the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad have begun their investigation.

Police have said that the investigation looks to uncover the suspicious death, the identity of the body and the circumstances of the death.
