A man’s body has been found at a home in Adelaide, with police alleging he was murdered.
South Australia Police responded to a series of alarms set off at businesses on Henley Beach Road in Torrensville, Adelaide, about 12.30am on Tuesday.
While checking the stores, officers discovered a 32-year-old man with a leg injury – allegedly suffered during the break-ins.
‘Enquiries with this man led police to a nearby Cowandilla home where they located the body of a 60-year-old man,’ SA Police said in a statement.
‘Police believe the victim to be a resident of the address, and both men are known to each other.’
Officers remain at the crime scene and have kept the injured man under police guard while he undergoes treatment for his leg injury.
‘It is expected the man will be charged with murder and other related property offences once his medical treatment is completed,’ police said.
Anyone with any information that may assist with the investigation is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
