The tattoo studio owned by an extreme body modifier who has been charged with genital mutilation has closed its doors permanently.

Brendan Russell, 37, owned and operated the studio in Erina Fair on the NSW Central Coast until last week – when it closed down.

The business closure comes weeks after Russell was charged – with police alleging he ‘burnt off part of a woman’s genitals with a branding iron’ during a procedure in 2016.
