The bomb squad has been called to a high school after a suspicious note was found in the girls’ bathroom.

The note was found by a group of female students at Gladstone State High School in Queensland.

The note made threats involving ‘explosive devices’, police told the Gladstone Observer.

The bomb squad has been called after a suspicious note was found in the girls’ bathroom at Gladstone State High School in Queensland

Students were immediately taken out of classes and have been evacuated to a secure location. 

‘It was a disconcerting note and they took it straight to the office,’ Sergeant Wayne Butcher said. 

Police cars and fire engines were seen outside the school early this afternoon.
