Bondi Sands founder Shaun Wilson announces engagement to model Tess Shanahan after elaborate beach proposal: ‘My forever’

Shaun Wilson has announced his engagement to Tess Shanahan. 

The founder of popular tanning brand Bondi Sands and the model shared the good news in an Instagram post on Monday. 

‘30.07.23 – My forever,’ Tess captioned a series of images of the elaborate proposal. 

In the photos, the beauty showed off her massive diamond ring after Shaun got down on one knee. 

The romantic businessman set up a canopy flanked by roses on a beach, as well as small tables decorated with romantic signs and photos. 

After accepting the proposal, Tess sat down to share a glass of champagne with her husband to be in a wicker chair placed under the canopy. 

The series of romantic images showed the couple sharing a sweet kiss as they watched the tide roll in.  

Tess, 28, is a Melbourne-based model, businesswoman and aspiring actor.

She founded the company Verve Superfoods, which has a range of natural, powdered products designed to supercharge smoothies.

Tess has walked for the likes of Alex Perry, Steven Khalil, David Jones, Myer, Lisa Marie Fernandez and numerous fashion weeks globally.

Shaun meanwhile founded he Bondi Sands brand in 2012 in Melbourne alongside business partner Blair James.

The incredibly successful tanning line held 60 percent of the market share in Australia as of 2021 and is the number one self tanning brand in the world. 

It is also sold at American retailers such as Walgreens, Ulta Beauty, Target, CVS and Rite Aid.
