Sports stars all around the globe — including Eugenie Bouchard, Mario Gotze and Alvaro Morata — celebrated Christmas 2017 in various ways.
Canadian tennis ace Bouchard treated herself to a traditional festive feast on the eve of the big day, before hitting the gym to work off those Christmas calories.
The 23-year-old former Wimbledon finalist then continued the party by attending a family gathering wearing a novelty hairband which dangled mistletoe in front of her face.

Bouchard posted a video of herself enjoying the party as she told her Instagram followers: ‘I have a mistletoe on my head which means anyone near me has to kiss me.’
In a later post she joked: ‘So far I have zero takers… probably because everyone here is related to me.’
Bouchard stayed clear of the court as she enjoyed Christmas with her loved ones.
But Borussia Dortmund ace Mario Gotze — on a winter break from football — switched sports temporarily to enjoy a tennis rally of his own.
Gotze also documented his day on Instagram and appeared to hint that he and girlfriend Ann-Kathrin Brommel are now engaged.
The 25-year-old Germany international uploaded a picture of Ann-Kathrin wearing a shiny ring and he captioned the snap: ‘my present’.

Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata married his long-term partner, Alice Campello, earlier this year and the newlyweds were joined by Alice’s family for Christmas, including dad Andrea.
The former Real Madrid frontman and wife Alice, who is pregnant with their first child, shared a loving kiss in front of the tree.
Morata is expected to start in Chelsea’s game against Brighton on Boxing Day, so he appeared to snub a heavy Christmas meal in favour of a lighter dinner, featuring pasta and plenty of salad.
