Bournemouth’s academy match against an Indonesian youth outfit on Thursday turned sour after a string of dangerous tackles led to a handful of heated brawls.
The Cherries youngsters hosted Indonesian academy side Garuda Select, who won 2-0 after a host of bust-ups throughout the match.
Both sides played their part in delivering a series of late, high and reckless challenges throughout the match, sparking a handful of mass brawls on the south coast.
After one Garuda Select youngster went to the floor clutching his leg in the 73rd minute, a team-mate of his went over to Bournemouth’s No 9 and pushed him in the shoulder and face, prompting a team-on-team scuffle.
In the 86th minute, another Cherries starlet was struck in the head during an off-the-ball incident, falling to the floor before clutching his face.

Perhaps the worst tackle of all came in stoppage time at the end of the match, as a Garuda Select player lunged in extremely late on an opponent by the touchline.
The Bournemouth youngster managed to evade the tackle but was understandably livid with the challenge, sparking another brawl between the two sides as he confronted the tackler.
These moments from the match went viral on social media on Friday.
Garuda Select, who train at Loughborough University, are a UK-based academy consisting of Indonesian football proteges.
Led by ex-Premier League stars Dennis Wise and Des Walker, the team star in a sports documentary called ‘Dream Chasers: Garuda Select’, which is midway through its fifth season.
