Dib’s first wife Sara Selim Dib died from leukaemia in September 2015, just eight weeks after she was diagnosed.

Her diagnosis meant the couple moved forward their plans for a December wedding, tying the knot just six weeks before Sara died.

Announcing Sara’s death in 2016, Dib wrote: ‘To God we belong and to God we shall return. At 11.30pm last night, my heart passed away.’

‘Sara Selim Dib, my best friend, my soul, my everything, my angel forever.’

Dib married his second wife Sarah Shaweesh, who he met through mutual friends, almost one-year later.
