Boy, 16, is charged with murdering his mother and twin 13-year-old brothers who were found stabbed to death in their Alabama home

A 16-year-old boy has been charged with murdering his mother and twin bothers who were found stabbed to death in their home in Alabama.
Deputies from the Talladega County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence on Roy Lackey Lane in Munford on Tuesday.
When they arrived, they found three victims who have been identified as Holli Christina Durham, 36, Branson Durham, 13, and Baron Durham, 13.
Holli’s son, Landon Durham, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with capital murder, Talladega County District Attorney Steve Giddens said.
The teenager will be charged as an adult.
Giddens did not comment on a possible motive, but said authorities believe the three were killed early Tuesday.
The cause of death appears to be due to stab wounds.
According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, Landon was found at 7.40am while traveling toward Etowah County.

Landon was arrested without incident at a store.
The Talladega County Sheriff’s Office wrote on Facebook that: ‘Investigators are actively following leads and processing the scene for evidence.’
‘I don’t mean this bad, but this is the kind of crime that you see on TV or the media or the internet that happens other places,’ Giddens said.
‘To have it here, really hits home. Munford, like all communities in this county, is pretty close knit, and I know they are hurting and we are too.
‘It’s just hard to believe these kind of things can happen,’ he added.
