Coach passengers are pictured waiting on the edge of the M3 as police dealt with the ‘bomb scare’

Last week, drivers who were stuck in stationary traffic for nearly 12 hours were forced to abandon their cars as a major UK motorway was closed over a bomb scare for the second time in a week.
