The Northern Beaches Police Area Command posted a photo of the shattered window to its Facebook page after the teen allegedly used his head to smash it.

One teenager was from Cromer and the other was from Mona Vale.

Police allege the 15-year-olds had a two-litre bottle of liquid smelling strongly of alcohol in their possession.

‘The 15-year olds were stumbling, slurring words and swearing loudly,’ the statement read.

‘When officers said they’d be taken home to their parents the pair refused, responding with screaming and aggression, threatening harm and refusing to comply.’

Officers detained one of the teens without further issues however when they attempted to get the second teen into the vehicle things escalated quickly.

‘While one was seated safely in a police truck, the other threw himself forward, his face smashing through the laminated back window of another truck,’ the statement continued.

‘His face badly cut, the teen fell back, unconscious.’

Police immediately called an ambulance and the boy was taken to a nearby hospital while his parents were notified of the incident.
