Brand MEMI pits itself against cult products with convincing results

  • It can cost more than £300 for a cosmetics bag full of designer products
  • Cruelty-free brand MEMI has pitted affordable range against high-end make-up
  • Two faces of make-up look almost identical, but can you tell them apart?

Beauty fans who lust after cult products can face paying hundreds of pounds to create their ideal look, in the hope the expensive cosmetics will create a perfect look.

But can you really tell the difference between a face full of designer make-up from brands such as Tom Ford and a more purse-friendly option?

New cruelty-free cosmetics brand MEMI has pitted its affordable range, starting from £10, against products such as MAC and Chanel to see if beauty fans can spot the difference.

While one look costs £307 to create, an identical face using MEMI products will set you back just £147 and the brand promises its highly pigmented cosmetics are more than a match when it comes to quality.

Before you decide to splash out, can you tell the face of expensive make-up from one that cost less than half the price?
