Brawl breaks out at Waffle House between employees over dishes

Breakfast came with a show at one Memphis Waffle House when a fight between two employees over who should wash the dishes turned into a full-on brawl.

Eric Cole was enjoying his first meal of the day early Sunday morning when he saw an argument brewing between the two employees and began to record.

Two women were debating who was supposed to wash the dishes when things took a violent turn.

Breakfast came with a show at this Memphis Waffle House when a fight between employees over who should wash the dishes turned into a full-on brawl

The manager told police the alleged victim was not on the clock but the other employee was telling her to wash the dishes anyway.

Cole caught the moment the fight appears to begin, when the alleged suspect appears to hit or flick the second woman in the back of the head.

The second woman then quickly turns around to confront her and their colleagues immediately try to hold the first woman back, anticipating a fight.

But it does little to stop the full-on brawl from erupting as the woman who first got hit begins slapping her hands at the alleged suspect.

The suspect than puts her hand on the second woman’s face as she tries to push her away.

They push each other up against the wall and at one point it appears the suspect pushes the second woman’s face again while cutlery crashes to the floor.

‘Good morning!’ some of the Waffle House customers joke during the commotion, clearly enjoying the chaos.

Four male employees desperately try to separate the women as they continue to scream and yell.

At one point, as the employees try to pull them apart, the second woman holds a firm grip on the suspect’s hair.

But she doesn’t make it out the door, instead screaming about how she’s going to press charges.

‘I’m gonna beat your motherf*****g a**’, she screams as another employee tries to lead her out.

She then walks back toward the counter and continues to yell: ‘Don’t you ever hold me, don’t you ever f*****g hold me, do you hear me?’

They then go into the back of the restaurant as the situation finally begins to calm down.

Police were called to the restaurant around 7am, when the fight had already come to an end.

The alleged suspect said she got into an argument with the other employee, who she claims hit her first, according to WHBQ.

Authorities did not disclose if assault charges were filed.

Waffle House said in a statement: ‘The manager handled the situation immediately’.
