Brazen student waits outside classroom to PUNCH maths teacher in the face

This is the shocking moment a schoolboy punched his maths teacher in the face after he was scolded for interrupting a lesson.

The teenager was filmed standing in the hallway of the Dario Salas school in Chillan, Chile, before he launched himself at his teacher.

The student, 13, then charged at Guillermo Badilla when he exited his classroom.

Mr Badilla was punched once in the face before another adult, in red, intervened and the young boy retreated.

He quickly ran back over to a group of onlookers before appearing to sprint down the hallway.

The teacher shouted after the teenager after stumbling back against the wall, looking up in shock at his actions.

It is believed the 13-year-old was not taught by Mr Badilla, but he had interrupted his class earlier in the day by telling his students it was break time when it was not.

‘He (the aggressor) is not even a student from his class, he broke into the class calling for students to take their break despite the fact it was not time for that,’ said Felipe Rossler, the Head of the Education Department of Nuble.

‘The teacher asked him to leave the room and the student did so but he waited outside until the break to punch him.’

Local media reported that Mr Badilla was emotionally affected by the incident and has since decided to report it to police.

Authorities said: ‘In 18 years of the school’s history, it is the first time a teacher has been the victim of a violent attack.

‘After this incident, he was very emotionally effected and decided to report it to the police.’

It is also believed the school will be taking action against the student.
