A gunman remains on the run after four men have been shot outside a popular nightclub during a drive-by shooting in inner Melbourne.
Shots were fired at the Love Machine nightclub near Little Chapel Street and Malvern Road in Prahran at about 3.20am.
A 28-year-old man and another unidentified male are in a critical condition, and two others – one aged 29 and the other in his 50s are stable, Victoria Police said.
The Age reported a security guard was shot in the face, and the gunman was believed to be in a stolen Porsche Cayenne.

Police said an investigation is underway and the exact circumstances are still being established.
People are urged to avoid the area and that anyone with information or footage of the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Malvern Road is closed in both directions between Chapel Street and Surrey Road.
