Brendan Schaub slams ‘bully’ Dana White and calls the UFC president a ‘low budget Vince McMahon’ after White had taken shots at the former heavyweight fighter in a press conference

  • Brendan Schaub has reignited his war of words with UFC president Dana White
  • The former UFC heavyweight posted a lengthy caption on his Instagram
  • White had taken shots at Schaub during a press conference earlier this week
  • Schaub had implied that the promotion had orchreasted the UFC 279 fiasco

Former UFC heavyweight Brendan Schaub has fired back at Dana White, following comments made by the UFC president at a press conference.

The spat emerged after Schaub speculated that the UFC had orchreasted the weigh-in chaos prior to UFC 279 in order to rebook Khamzat Chimaev and Nate Diaz into separate bouts.

Initially under the impression that Pat Miletich had made the comments, White said the former UFC champion would be the ‘dumbest motherf***** on the planet’ if he truly believed in the theory.

After being advised by a reporter in attendance that in was Schaub who had actually spouted the conspiracy theory, White said ‘That makes sense.’

While both men had separately espoused their belief in the UFC’s involvement in last week’s fiasco, Schaub was quick to take to social media to hit back at his former boss.

The fighter turned comedian/podcaster wrote on his Instagram:

‘Unfortunately, not surprised you’re a bully,

‘Always have been. You put on a pair of designer jeans and some “hip sneakers” and think you’re cool. You’re still a dork with a frat bro vocabulary.’

The former fighter, who called time on his career after being defeated by Travis Browne in 2014 also slammed the UFC boss for a lack of transparency in the reporting of events.

‘Sorry, we just don’t buy what you’re telling us after lying numerous times but the sheep media you pick to attend events don’t have the balls to call you out.

‘Just in the recent press conference you were caught lying about extra compensation to the fighters.’ Schaub added.

Schaub concluded his Instagram post by alleging that the UFC had stolen ideas from his Thicc Boy YouTube channel and had repurposed them for UFC Fight Pass.

This isn’t the first time that the pair have engaged in a war of words since Schaub left the UFC, however.

In 2018, White called Schaub a ‘F***ing tool’ after Schaub had commented on Israel Adesanya’s transition from professional kickboxing into MMA.

Schaub provided a lengthy response on Twitter, insinuating that White’s position in the promotion was solely the result of his relationship with the UFC’s then-owners.

‘You’d be a cardio kick boxing coach in Boston in your late 40’s, hoping to grab a ticket to my stand up front row if Lorenzo Fertitta didn’t save your a**.’

BRENDAN SCHAUB’S FULL INSTAGRAM POST:

Oh god… here we go again. I’ve been nothing but cool and thought you’d learn from the last time you mentioned my name and got destroyed. Unfortunately, not surprised you’re a bully. Always have been. You put on a pair of designer jeans and some “hip sneakers” and think you’re cool. You’re still a dork with a frat bro vocabulary. Calling me and numerous people “dummy” “dumbass” “f*cking idiot” cause we have questions about “the chaos” at UFC279? Also, no one is talking about *gate tickets,* I was referring to *pay per view buys* and how UFC 279 was *trending*… which you don’t release to the public, but will say “it went F*ckin great bros!” Sorry, we just don’t buy what you’re telling us after lying numerous times but the sheep media you pick to attend events don’t have the balls to call you out. Just in the recent press conference you were caught lying about extra compensation to the fighters. You need a reality check. You’re surrounded by “Yes men.” You’re not special, you’re not original. You’re a low budget Vince McMahon. Every move you make is a copy cat of that dude. Only thing you have in common is you’re both on steroids and dress like assholes. Need I remind you, your origin story is a failed cardio kick boxing instructor who had two rich friends in high school to fund this business. Now go make a “cool” video with the Nelk boys to stay relevant or have your PR team come up with a good press story to distract the fans away from fighter pay and how they have to wear those awful under armor Rock shoes and won’t see a dime. “Dummy”

PS. Quit stealing my shows on thicccboy network and recreating it on Fight pass, k?

Also… leave Pat Miletich alone.
