Brett Kavanaugh hearing LIVE: Trump’s SCOTUS nominee and his accuser Christine Ford testify before the Senate Judiciary Comittee

President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh is appearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee today for a blockbuster hearing as he faces four accusations of sexual misconduct.

One of his accusers Christine Ford is also due to testify to Senators after dramatically accusing the nominee of sexually assaulting her at a high school party in 1982.

Three other women have come forward: Deborah Ramirez who says he exposed herself at college, Julie Swetnick who says Kavanaugh was present when she was gang raped and a third woman who has accused him of sexual assault in an anonymous letter

Kavanaugh has vociferously denied all the claims and painted them as politically motivated.

He will tell the hearing in his opening statement: ‘I never did anything remotely resembling what Dr. Ford describes.’

But Ford will respond:  ‘I was pushed onto the bed and Brett got on top of me. He began running his hands over my body and grinding his hips into me. I believed he was going to rape me. I tried to yell for help. When I did, Brett put his hand over my mouth to stop me from screaming.
