Brexit is not over and Britain must not ‘fall into traps’, the former minister for leaving Europe warned yesterday.
David Davis told MPs there were ‘still issues to deal with’ on Northern Ireland, fishing and Gibraltar.
Mr Davis, who led talks on the divorce deal, said giving MPs one day to approve the deal was ‘frankly not enough’.
But the former Brexit secretary said the deal secured by Boris Johnson was ‘much better than would have been achieved under the previous strategy’.

‘It’s not over. All will lead to uncomfortable decisions in the near future,’ he said during yesterday’s Commons debate.
